Kiki has also alerted me to Mark Ames’ response to the Curtis blog post. I blogged about the Surkov LRB article a few months back. Wow, I don’t know much.
Adam Curtis has a great post (with his usual selection of sweet video clips) on the avant-garde punk scene in the Soviet Union in the 70s and 80s, and its current political impact. Limonov, of course, is prominently featured.
